We specialize in books about objects likely to have been used or displayed in American homes of the 17th through 19th centuries (although many other sorts of books manage to find their way here). We've been selling books on American Decorative Arts for about 15 years and our inventory is large and changing.
If you can't find the book you're looking for, please fill out the off-line search form and we'll search our off-line inventory, and, if we don't have it, we'll do our best to find it for you.
We exhibit at about 14 major Antique shows yearly,(see our schedule for this year, further down this page) and we have many books that haven't made it this site yet. Each is complete and utilizes high resolution scanning and Adobe software. They are fully searchable, photographs can be significantly enlarged, and they can be printed. The first three that we have done, and are now available, include the Isreal Sack sale of One Hundred Important American Antiques, The Howard Reifsnyder Collection, and The Francis Garvan Collection. Each is a landmark sale. We also have available a group of 11 very rare, original catalogs from Weathervane makers. These catalogs have never been re-printed, and include scarce makers.
